L-Acoustics K2 – an industry favorite in the medium-sized line array category – is now available to hire from ML Executives. The new investment expands ML Executives’ rental inventory of L-Acoustics products, which already includes KARA II, KS28 and LA12X amplifier.
An internationally recognized workhorse for rental houses, K2 is at home in arenas, concert halls and at festivals. Each element weighs 56kg, keeping total array weight lower than many other systems. The three-way design features dual 12″ low frequency drivers, quad 6.5″ mid-range drivers and dual 3″ high frequency compression drivers. the sonic personality synonymous with L-Acoustics has been retained. This also allows for harmonious integration of other products in the L-Acoustics loudspeaker family. Hardware is available to link K2 below K1or K1-SB and to link KARA or K3 below K2. Each K2 element can be linked to form a variable curvature array, with angle options between 0.25 & 10 degrees. Panflex is also available which allows technicians to alter the horizontal dispersion of the higher frequency elements between 70 and 110 degree or a 90 degree asymmetric option.
